Creative OPERAtions and 3BR Distillery invite audiences to an immersive Kurt Weill concert, Berlin to Broadway, on March 10th, in Keyport, NJ where guests will feel as though they have been transported to a cabaret in Berlin, cocktails included!

The concert focuses on Weill's journey from Berlin to Broadway featuring such pieces as Nana's Lied, Berlin im Licht, Youkali, Buddy on the Nightshift, Speak Low, and Lost in the Stars.  Additionally, the concert will also include arias from Kurt Weill's operas; Alabama Song from Rise and Fall of the City of Mahagonny and What Good Would the Moon Be? from Street Scene.

The idea for the Berlin to Broadway concert was inspired by 3BR Distillery and its European roots.  The venue is the perfect location to travel back in time for an evening of Kurt Weill's music and to follow his musical journey from Europe to America.  Kurt Weill was a composer that challenged what opera and classical music could be.  He took risks while never forgetting his audience. He thought that opera and classical music should be more accessible.  We at Creative OPERAtions couldn't agree with him more.  His music was ahead of his time. Kurt Weill is one of the few classical composers that has had his opera arias performed by everyone from opera divas to rock stars.  Inspired by Kurt Weill's vision we honor his music and journey with this concert.
